Here's the cute
little witch.

Decorating with
spider web stuff.
She loved it. Put
some across her
bedroom door.
You had to 'duck'
down to get in.

Making cookies
at one of the
Halloween parties.

Made witch cupcakes
for our Halloween
Party. She loved
getting ready almost
as much as the party.

Playing pin-the-
bones-on-the-
skeleton at our
little party.

Have a little ghost
and he won't scare
you!

Pumpkin carving
party with neighbors.

Getting out the goo!

It was raining so
we moved everyone
into our Daddy's
garage.

Doing some
carving all
by herself

Tah-dah!

Bobbing for gummy
worms in whip cream!

Spook Sprint Fun
Run. She was tired
of her witch costume.
Got into the dress-
up box and came up
with this. You can't
see it, but she's got a
crown and wings on too.

Summertime Highlights

I know, I know. I'm way past due on updating the blog!
Just couldn't stop playing this summer. Lake Powell,
Bear Lake, Fishing and Fireworks. T-ball and Tea Parties.
Family Fun - we loved spending time with both
birth families. Swimming lessons, Pool Parties, and
Popcycles. Camping, Bike Rides, and a trip to The Cabin.
Throw in some Weeding, working in the Basement
(still not done, close though), and even a few "Time Outs"
and that's what we've been up to.

T-Ball w/ four
year olds - loads
of laughs.

Just me and my Dad:-)

Had a great time at
Lake Powell.

She loved being in
the water and
collecting shells.

Tea Party fun!
Had 3 Tea Parties
this summer. Even
one with the boys
next door.

"I know how to
do fire, Dad."

Cutest beach baby
ever!

She worked so hard
on this sand castle
at Bear Lake.

Catching bugs.

Some serious fishing
going on. She like
playing with worms
more than anything.

Biking in Jackson.

Happy Graduation! Wahoo!!

Our daughter's birth mother graduated from SUU last week. What a great accomplishment. We are so proud of her!

Every time I look at our little angel, I see her birth mother. She looks so much like her. I love that; a beautiful reminder of her courage and sacrifice that has forever connected us. Two mother's hearts that love this little child. Grateful that she is part of our lives.

April was Awesome

April started off with
a big snowstorm. So
we built a snowbunny!

Dying eggs was a huge
hit. She liked dipping
them in and out of the
die over and over.

We have an egg hunt
with our neighbors
every year. Had to
bundle up, but the
kids didn't mind.

Baby Animal Days!
She liked the animals
that didn't move around.

If they wiggled at all,
she got nervous.

Her favorite part of the
day - the train ride.

Annual ski trip to
Targhee with our
family and extended
family. Had a blast!

Girls love a bubble bath.

Breakfast with a :-)
She told me I was
the best mom in the
world. Later that day
she got upset with me
and told me that I
wasn't the best mom
anymore. Oh man!

Flying a kite with dad.

March Happenings

We started St. Patrick's Day out with green eggs
and green milk for breakfast.  She said that the
green milk tasted
better than white.

A leprechaun visited
our house while she
was at preschool.

He left a trail of green
M&M's up to her room
where he left more treats
and a few pieces of his
gold.  She was so
excited!

Went to the Tree House
Museum with our play
group buddies.  She loves
music.

Her favorite exhibit was
the farm.  Here she is
milking the cow.  She
loved it.

Cutest little
cowgirl ever!

Went to the "Snoopy
Carnival" at our local
ski resort.  It's a big
party on the snow for
the kids.

Snowbunnies rule!!

February Fun

February was all about Valentines for us.
We made our own with some cute little
teddy bear foam stickies.  She had three
parties, one at preschool, one with neighbor-
hood friends, and one with our adoption pals.
She had a hard time wanting to give away
"her" Valentines.  When she realized that
she was getting some too, that made it okay.

We did lots of skiing this month.  Our little ski bunny
is doing great.  She is bored with the magic carpet lift
now and her favorite is the paddle tow.  She has been
all over the mountain, top to bottom.  She likes to tell
people that she can ski the entire mountain!  Well maybe
all of the green runs.  She just got rid of her ski clamp
on Saturday!  Wahoo!

She skis for a while,
then has to stop for
a bite of snow.

Had a Valentine Day
Party at our house with
3 little neighborhood
pals.

Making Love bugs with
our friends.
